Rhizobacteria in growth and quality of açaí seedlings

چکیده

Abstract The success of any plant development relies on healthy and vigorous seedlings, the use rhizobacteria is a sustainable alternative for production high-quality seedlings as they positively interfere in development. Thus, objective this study was to evaluate effect growth quality açaí (Euterpe oleracea Mart.), native palm Brazil, which has significant ornamental value addition ecological economic role, mainly by providing sweet heart fruit pulp. experimental design entirely randomized. There were five treatments (Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus megaterium, amyloliquefaciens Azospirillum brasilense plus absence microorganisms - control); four replicates ten plants per plot. following characteristics evaluated: shoot height (cm), root length (cm); stem diameter (mm); number leaves; leaf area (cm2); shoot, well total dry matter (g). Shoot/root ratio determined Dickson Quality Index. data submitted variance analysis means compared using Tukey’s test at 5% probability. Pearson’s correlation matrix also determined. rhizobacterium subtilis provided higher while lower seedlings.

the effect of plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria on growth and physiological characteristics of corylus avellana seedlings

the effects of plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (pgpr) on growth and physiological characteristics of seedlings corylus avellana were determined in a forest nursery. for this purpose, in a completely randomized design (crd) and four replicates, three putative bacteria, including pseudomonas putida, bacillus subtilis and enterobacter cloacae, as alone and mixed, were examined. the greatest h...

Effects of Plant Growth-Promoting Rhizobacteria on Loblolly and Slash Pine Seedlings

Loblolly and slash pine seed were inoculated at sowing with 1 of 12 different strains of plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) in the greenhouse. Time to germination and seedling densities were determined at 21 days, and seedling biomass was measured at 12 wk after sowing. All bacterial strains significantly increased the speed of seedling emergence over nontreated pine seed. By 12 wk, ho...

Optimizing Seed Germination and Growth of Seedlings in Persian Walnut

The efficiency of conventional stratification methods for seed germination of walnut (Juglans regia L.), which uses long moist-chilling periods, is low. This experiment was conducted during winter to spring 2014 to optimize the seed germination of walnut ‘Chandler’ via changing growing media and removing seed mechanical dormancy. Fourteen treatments were tested. None of the seeds germi...

Isolation and Characterization of Rhizobia and Plant Growth-promoting Rhizobacteria and Their Effects on Growth of Rice Seedlings

Biofertilizer is a relatively safer, environmentally friendly and cost-effective approach as an alternative to reduce chemical fertilizer usage. The selection of bacterial strains with multiple beneficial characteristics are important to maximize the effectiveness on the host plant. Due to aforementioned interest, several Plant Growth-Promoting Rhizobacterial (PGPR) and rhizobial strains were i...
